Cherry red color. Balsamic, liquorice, spicy on smell. Very long, high acidity, silky, persistent. A lot of wood.

Wonderful Ribera del Duoro!! Deep fruit, well-balanced with slight oak, but not over-powering. I’ve tried six Ribera del Duoros over past few weeks and this, by far, is my favorite. Not cheap, though. CHF 39 at Flaschenpost.

Soooo smooth and round and one of the best Spanish wines I’ve ever had.
