Malleolus Ribera del Duero Tempranillo

Nose of blue and blackberry. Rich mouthfeel. Long acid. Dill and spice. Leafy. Menthol. Plum, tart cranberry, and blackberry.

Super tight. Very good. Needs to breath for about a half an hour

Young wine, great potential but could use some years and air.

First time tasted after visiting the very impressive vineyard some years ago - lovely restrained wine with tobacco & cedar on the nose and impressive dark fruit on the palate - very impressed!

Leather and smoke on nose. Full body, dry, and nice tannins. Plums, currants, spicy.

We opened this because we read a few reviews that it's prime was 2018. I disagree. Decanted a couple of hours and it was wonderful. Glad we still have one left.

Full bodied Tempranillo. Aged 18 months in French oak. Black fruits flavor - long finish.

Let it decant for about 2.5 hours. This is a great one!
