Child's birth year wine to share with a truffled roast beef and both Mother and Baba.
Medium ruby. Some cherry fruit backed by a cyanic, cherry pit/almond note. Tannins resolved. Just enough structure to stand up to the dish.

Deep Ruby with aromas of black fruits and exotic spices. On the palate ripe blackberry and currant flavors with earthy spice. Medium finish with very grippy tannins, ending with fruit and herb oak spice character. Tasting Sample.

Not that interesting. Despite 24 months in French oak, still overwhelmed with bright red fruit. Drinks like a polished crianza rather than a mature and layered reserva. All acid and no balance on the finish. Unremarkable and over-rated.

Not too bad. Pretty acidic with a long finish. Suggest a fatty meal for a pairing.
