Deep ruby in color with a purple rim.

Strong nose of blackberries, black currants, cherries, plums, vanilla, oak, acetone, green pepper, earth, pencil lead, forest floor, peppercorn and spices.

Full-bodied and rich, with medium plus acidity and long legs.

Earthy and fruit forward on the palate, with blackberries, blueberries, plums, cherries, wood, tobacco, licorice, vanilla, aluminum, earth, forest floor, nail polish remover, cinnamon, chocolates, coffee, bell pepper, spices and lots of peppercorn.

Medium plus on the finish with angular tannins and black pepper.

This 100% Granacha from Spain, is drinkable now, but will be better in a year or two.
Nice mouth feel and balanced, except for the huge tannins that evolved after two hours in a decanter.
Surprisingly, this was good right out of the bottle, but much more complex when it opened up. A good wine to accompany food, but also great just by itself, as I had it.

Grapes are hand picked and grown at 3000 ft elevation, in 100 year old Vines, on gravel and slate soils.

15.5% alcohol by volume.

Sipping Fine Wine

Jorge Ordonez founded Bodegas Breca in 2005, in the town of Mundobriga, which was the ancient Celt-Iberian city that gave birth to the modern village of Munebrega in Aragon. The vines planted between 1926 and 1945. Very deep red with a complex bouquet of fruit and sweet spice. Sits on oak for almost 2 years! Tastes of black raspberry, cherry and dried fruit, with sweet herbs and earthy mineral. Balanced, developed tannins and lingering nicely. Real value, a must try.

Full and opulent cocoa and black cherry. No finish. It dies almost suddenly after filling your mouth with delicious flavours. This could be a good thing sometimes. For example, there's no bad aftertaste here.
