Berola Campo de Borja Garnacha Blend

Dark purple with a semi opaque rim. Clean and clear with a moderately intense nose of wood smoke, spice box, lavender and plum. Bright fruit, quenching acidity fill the mouth with kirsch, blackberry, balsamic and toasted oak. The finish is subtle and longer than expected.

Very tasty with tagliatelle and shaved truffles.

I liked Spanish wines s lot more a decade ago. This one doesn’t seem burnt or ridiculously tannic, but what I think might be some nice fruit is covered up by oak forest they threw in there. Eat a grape and suck on firewood.

Really enjoyed this one. 9 out of 10 would drink again.

This red blend looked to be a good find, but turned out to be a little too one note ish for me. High tannins and easy to drink, but wouldn't seek out.

Nice bottle. Nothing overpowering, fresh and light
