While the tannins and body are admirable (especially for the price), but a strange Concorde grape note on the mid palate ruins this for me. Verges on cloying. While it beats out several wines at its retail price point, it pails to wines just above it.

Nov 8th, 20172015 Vintage- Well, it’s got med+ tannin structure. Great if you’re a little too into the grape jelly single packets at the hotel’s continental breakfast. Something a little metallic on the mid palate but it’s washed away by concord jelly. There’s better out there for the price point.

Feb 25th, 2018Hmmm. I REALLY want to love this wine. There is more tannin, acidity and body to this wine than other wines at this price point but it just has a Concord grape jelly, shoe polish note to it that I just can’t get past. Still good for the money, just doesn’t blow you away by any means.

A nice wine. Not particularly Cab like. More of a standard Spanish wine with some carmel and dried fruit to go with the nice warm red and black fruit notes.
