Last bottle. Really gorgeous and this has shed its some fat since LBT. Black cherry mix of dried and crushed, kiss of stewed plum, vanilla, coffee grounds, gravel, leaver and cedar. Palate carried all this with more oak spice and stony minerality showing. Tannins still bring about some sinew and are dry, this screams for food.

Plum, black cherry, and currant. Mint and menthol prominent. A powerhouse of tannin as well.

With Christmas ham. A bit muted on the nose, but drunk out of pint glasses at non wine drinker family's house. Slightly austere tannin structure, to much new wood or just art an adolescent phase and needs more time in bottle; not sure which.

Aug 1st, 2015Deep purple. Aromas of figs, dark chocolate, with air it shows more of the brooding side of Tempranillo, savory dark fruits and a great backbone of structure. This will age well.

Tempranillo. Excellent. Dark cherry with some vanilla and earthy smoke. Clean finish. Off dry and nice acid. Crushed with short ribs
