This thing is ferocious. Very powerful. Nothing understated or subtle. Finish is hot, nose is pretty; cedar, game meat, leather, vanilla, whiff of Aqua Net hairspray. Not my style, but not without merit. Could easily age plenty more.

Pine trees in your face, Christmas spices, moves in to great fig nutons, and finishes strong with dark chocolate. A really fantastic wine!

Day 1. Big, ripe and rich. Huge, creamy malolactic/oak overtones. Needs time to integrate and develop, though definitely fun, friendly and enjoyable in its youth. Day 3. more port-like and concentrated. Actually, much better IMO!!!!! Whoa! Lay this down and forget about it.

Dark color and tight nose. Greenery pine and considerable tar. Calls put for some grilled beef. $23.99

Fantastic depth and funk. Just another example of how many different faces Spain can put on Tempranillo. #animalapproved
