A deep red with purple on the fringes. Powerful, ripe, red fruit and sweet spice on the nose. Just the right amount of acidity coupled with a ripe tannic structure and silky smooth mouth feel. Once again the spicy, smokey note serves as an undertone.
A deliciously quaffable wine at an affordable price point. Certainly a good pairing for any red meat, especially barbeque.
