TGIF! This young priorat wine (SW of Barcelona) is composed of an even-Steven blend of grenache and carignan; it has deep purple color and a S. Rhône-like nose on steroids including some VA, liquorice, and pellegrino poured over a stone; in the mouth it has a nice structure of high acids, chest-burning alcohol, and big front-of-the-teeth tannins, dark dried fruits, vanilla, and a long tart finish. Obviously way to young but now I now the baseline. Had with Charlie Byrd Bossa music - on vinyl of course.

Intensiv mineral, gott om mogna körsbär och annan syrlig frukt, snyggt kryddig ek och tydliga, men väl integrerade tanniner. Riktigt trevligt!

Great performance. The wine showed black in the decanter. The wine performed better and better during the evening. Balsamic hints, mint. Black slate priorat. Great QPR.

Cupage: 50% Garnatxa Negre, 50% Carinena.
The color is deep cherry red with violet rim.
In the nose, ripe cherries and blackberries, small sound from alcohol, light toasted oak, dark chocolate, espresso coffee, mineral, as so often with wines from Priorat.
Taste: full, ripe cherries, fresh, creamy wood notes, which are nicely merged with fruits, and soft tyre taniennes, and with a medium finish and clear mineral notes.
