50% Garnatxa and 50% Cariñena/Carignan from young vines in the Pardelasses lieu-dit in Torroja (Priorat). Fermented in stainless steel and aged for 12 months in oak. Good nose with dark fruit, (stewed plums), earthy notes and hints of cola and coffee. Full-bodied, good acidity, a little harsh — 5 months ago
Cupage: 50% Garnatxa Negre, 50% Carinena.
The color is deep cherry red with violet rim.
In the nose, ripe cherries and blackberries, small sound from alcohol, light toasted oak, dark chocolate, espresso coffee, mineral, as so often with wines from Priorat.
Taste: full, ripe cherries, fresh, creamy wood notes, which are nicely merged with fruits, and soft tyre taniennes, and with a medium finish and clear mineral notes.
