Bodega Noemia de Patagonia
Rio Negro Malbec
Río Negro, Patagonia, Argentina
One of my favorites of the tasting, complexity abounds with fresh red fruits, earth and finely chiseled complexity. Great acidity and ripe tannins. Pricey but it wears the price tag well.

Blackberry, red plums, and integrated vanilla oak. Bright red berries and spice on a structured frame. Chocolate and cedar round it out.

Mar 22nd, 2015Complexity and sophistication I have not found in other Malbecs. Channels France in the best of ways. Very special and a most welcome discovery. Just bought a case of the 2011 at $59 per bottle. Outstanding value for a RP 96 /WS 95.
