Thin, fruity sweet, brief spicy note turning to astringency, dry finish. Not my favorite representation from the region.

On the nose, alcohol is present given the 14% level and dark ripe berries and plums, hints of vanilla with a tidy bit of minerals. The mouth is full bodied and the minerality expresses itself much better with the ripe berries. Tannins balance well the silky structure. The finish is a bit disappointing. Great value for the price.

Too young and stiff, yet somehow drinkable and enjoyable CS from 50yo vines, aged 14 months in oak.

Dark cherry red, brownish red rim.
Sweet and dense aromas of strawberry jam, prunes, black currant, tobacco, bilberry, rosemary, eucalyptus.
Well-structured medium+ bodied palate, rounded acidity, gripping tannins. Flavored by black currant, plum, black cherry, ashberry, touch of earth & spices.
Finish is medium, heavily tannic with plums and cherries backflip.
Distinct match to grill/roast/BBQ.
