Very interesting wine. Dark, almost black. Spice, wood tannin. Incomplete but interesting.

I love Tannat and this is no exception. I feel like this is underrated probably because of its origins. Definitely try this if you can find it! Also, priced under 20€

v20. Very good, totally over delivers. Soft, yet fully smoked meat nose. Fresh, rich, dark black fruit medley. Bright, smooth, long, slightly astringent finish. Treasure. Great charcuterie wine.

This one took a couple of days to open up. Once it did, some nice dark fruit flavors began to emerge, along with some earth, leather, and spice. My first go with Marselan, and I'll be interested to try one from a different producer/country. Not too bad once it opened up. 100% Marselan. 5/19/23.

Deep, dark garnet-ruby in the glass. Underripe bing cherry, plum, sweet herbs and dried violets on the nose that carry through the palate. Chalky tannins, could use time to soften.
