Soft, approachable, and chalky blackberry/dark cherry fruit. Most likely at its peak. 6 months in barrel Tempranillo... An entry level, inexpensive, and worthy pop and pour pleaser. Not the Crianza.

Classic Toro Tempranillo. Cherry, blueberry and some vanilla with seemingly minimal oak. Delicious.

Good value for $14/bottle. Very dark purple on the eye. Nose smells like a cellar- ripe cherries, cellar, some oak. Palette sees medium+ body, some red fruits, healthy dose of tannins.

Impressed by this wine and glad I bought a 6-pack--now I'm selling it at Woodberry. Has the cherry, herbs, and wet Earth I like about Rioja with a little more asphalt and pencil shavings. Mucked up the label using Coravin. How long until Coravin is an examinable service method? 😜

This is a Toro which is more like a Rioja. Old world style and presentation. Medium bodied, a little more heft than you would expect. Hints of tar, bramble entry and a medium to short finish

Lots of mouth taste, deep and oaky with flavors of cherry, blackberry.. Great wine with some spice to but needs strong food to hold up to it
