This classy high-altitude Malbec boasts fully ripe, nuanced aromas and flavors of dark berries, minerals, mocha, bitter chocolate, pepper and menthol. Wonderfully pliant and refined, it displays subtle inner-mouth lift and restrained sweetness and a suavely tannic, slowly rising finish. (Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, June 2018)

Dark garnet/purple to edges of glass with a strong nose of black plum with maybe black cherry too with hints of some wet earth. Medium+ body with a slight jammy feel in the mouth. Medium acidity and clear tannins & dryness at the end. Red plum with some chalkiness. Pretty good and probably better with more air & food.

So loaded with sulfur that I'm not sure I can get past that. I'll leave it open and try to turn it into a decent sangria!

Dark purple color. Intense aromas of blueberry with hints of mint, beef jerky and spice. Pallet is full of blue and black berry fruit. Some notes of chocolate, minerals and spices also. Touch of raisins on the oaky finish. Nicely balanced and elegant.

2018 vintage, inky purple color, cherry and black fruit notes. Wine is very fruity but balanced, acidity does not take over. Palate balanced, dry with sweet notes. Tasty.
