Nose of earth, and cherry. Flavors of black cherry, tar, and earth. Medium to full body, with medium + tannins, and a long, earthy finish.

3/22/8/3/4 +50 =89 pts.

9/16 a jug wine from Umbria but has a good dose of Sag. Better than most wines 2 or 3 x the $. Paid 2o in Ontario last year. Anyone growing sag in Cali?

Quality vintage for dark fruit and good grippy tannin

Deep red color with a hint of purple. Medium legs, medium body and very balanced without any sediment. First nose of cherry with a hint of violet and spice. Easy drinking with cherry, raspberry, red fruits with a bit of earthiness and a hint of vanilla. Polished and finishes beautifully.

Light ruby in color with medium legs and low acidity. Light to medium body red. No sediment with a silky, short finish. First nose is truffle and mushroom. Tastes like red fruit, raspberry, strawberry, cherry with hints of truffle or mushroom.

Warming up to this. Still fairly tannic. Sweet strawberry aromatics.

Earthy clove and vanilla over a touch of blackberry.
