9/16 a jug wine from Umbria but has a good dose of Sag. Better than most wines 2 or 3 x the $. Paid 2o in Ontario last year. Anyone growing sag in Cali?

A bit hot on the nose. Raspberry, stewed red fruit,earthy soil,dusty, some herbal notes(sage maybe) leather. Also some notes of rose. Taste is juicy with some spice & moderate tannins. Medium-low acidity. Really fun to drink!

Texture is firm and rounded. Long finish that's a bit hot again. 15.5% ABV! JL tasting 10/11/16 Central Italy. $14.44 good value.
