Black Sage Vineyard
Okanagan Valley Shiraz
Smooth, deep, highly palatable. Well worth the 3 year wait!! Compared with their regular Shiraz and this one is Incredible.

May 21st, 2018This is a pure expression of the great wines that are now being produced in the Southern Okanagan Valley. This contemporary New World flavored and aromatic wine opens with delicious black fruit and a dusting of sage in presentation. On the palate itβs a touch rambunctious yet with a simplicity that belies its layered complexity. This wine has hidden depths that will show well over time. Cheers π·π¨π¦

Jul 24th, 2016Really good Canadian Shiraz. No, that is not a contradiction in terms. Full fruit forward start without the ultra dry finish you get with most AUZ deliveries. Plummy but not Zin/Porty at the start and a little bit of spice at the end for a nice finish. Another "smuggled" gem from the Okanagan. Hate to sound like a western wine snob, but Niagara still comes up so short and when comparing reds. Looking forward to trying the Merlot.
