Such a unique take on Zinfandel. Lower alcohol and much more red-fruited than is typical, the nose has great purity of cherry and raspberry compote, crushed rock, and a dusting of baking spice. In the mouth it’s got great flavor concentration in an aerodynamically lean package. Intense red fruit and lots of crushed rock. Great acids. A perfect summer Zin. This winery never disappoints, in my experience.

Light, lean and easy to drink. Fruits are ripe, blue and black. Slightly stewed. Some light black earth and sandy minerals with decent acidity. Refreshing.

Love this wine! If you are expecting a punch in the mouth fruit bomb…. Go elsewhere. This is all about finesse. Dusty red fruit, very expressive bouquet, medium tannins.
