Binyamina
Yogev Cabernet Sauvignon & Shiraz
Dark ruby in color with a short purplish rim.
Fruity nose of plums, cherries, wood, cloves, vanilla, smoke, spices, chocolates, earth, mocha and peppercorn.
Full bodied and bold with medium plus acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, sweet cherries, wood, licorice, spices, cloves, bitter herbs, leather, bitter chocolates, tobacco and peppercorn.
Medium finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 4 year old Israeli Cabernet blend is drinking nicely now. Simple and enjoyable. Not fully balanced, but enjoyable nonetheless.
Good right out of the bottle and better after 30 minutes of airtime. A little bitter on the ending for my taste, and might be a little better in a year or two.
I paired it with heavy appetizers.
A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Shiraz. Kosher for Passover.
14% alcohol by volume.
84 points.
$20.

Spicy, complex, and unique. Medium bodied with notes of dark cherries, plums, black pepper, green bell peppers and big dark plump strawberries on the edge of their expiration. 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Shiraz, but the Shiraz definitely stands out in my opinion.

1 person found it helpfulJun 14th, 2015This is a nice blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Merlot from Israel.
Color is light ruby color with a wide brown brick edge. My guess is that it is at the peak right now, or the bottle started oxidation for some reason.
Beautiful nose of red berries, plums, tobacco, roses, celery, spices and green pepper.
Medium bodied with slow dripping legs and 14% alcohol.
Smooth and balanced on the palate with blackberries, plums, ripe cherries, cloves and forest floor.
Medium plus finish with nice full tannins (after opening up for an hour).

50% Syrah, 50% Cab
Fun to watch evolve in glass, tannin unfurls with air like a flowering tea.
Elevated acidity, soil notes, Cocoa tannin.
Fruit notes are more condensed and savory than juicy, good warm dry air movement in the vineyard, fruit is concentrated with an air of freshly dried fruit, delicious, plump while passito-esque.
Wheres the brisket... and pomegranate chicken?!
Kosher for Passover
