Mid Lemon. Medium plus intensity with some mealy characters on palate. In the citrus/stone fruit spectrum with balanced oak and pronounced minerality Tinge of pineapple juice. Drink remaining bottle in next year. Ended up having the last bottle 10 weeks later and it was very good, in fact Premier Cru standard. Funky Burgundian leesy characters. Lifted the score from 91 to 94.

Delectable this is actually the Bindi Block 5 Pinot Noir. Also in the Langtons Outstanding category and one of the Best Pinots in Australia. Always a silky long living Pinot.

Salvaged enough to have a glass after breaking the bottle. Nearly 10 years in the waiting and cracked the glass on the counter. Damn. Seems advanced, but still enjoyable.

A decade down the track- this is brilliant. Gorgeous fruit, balanced oak, and still a zingy acid line that makes me wonder about years ahead. Aussie icon Chard.

Struck match, wet stone and some quite delicate, lacy tropical fruit, very elegant. Wonderful balance, succulence and a gentle power in the mouth. Long finish
