Another 4th Friday for the books, and one of the best of the year!
I love this vineyard. Tomato paste; raspberry and herbal spices; has an older nose but a very young palate...spicy red fruit finish. A marriage of Napa fruit bomb Syrah and WA state funky Syrah. This hid the ABV well. I think I prefer Lillian and Herman Story’s version of this vineyard a touch more.

Rich notes of blueberry, dark chocolate on the nose. The body was dense with blueberry and cherry compote. A little RS? on the finish. Big wine style (aka Parker)

Its my favorite label ever. The wine...if you got one, drink it. It's not getting better. Big abv, but huge blue fruit holds it in balance. Menthol, floral. It's aged Syrah for sure...
