Montornello Chianti Classico Sangiovese

(375 mL)On nose alone I would’ve guessed this was well past peak, but the palate impressed with savory kirsch and dried red fruit. Tannin resolving and acid hanging in there. Gran Selezione that needs to be drunk now, at least the half bottles.

One of the last two bottles we shipped back from Florence. It's softened up a bit over the last 18 months.

2010 for me too young. But even now interesting with wonderful nose.

Изюм, чернослив, бальзамик, летучая кислотность. Тело плотное, вкус сухофруктный, с инжиром, изюмом. Летучая кислотность остающаяся в горле. Не хорошо. 12/20 (72/100)
