Time for a good #FridayCabernetfix. Here is a great one from Napa Valley.
Inky in color with a short purple rim.
Showing black fruits with cedar, earth, vanilla, licorice, tobacco, coke, chocolates, dark coffee, leather, spices and peppercorn.
Full bodied and smooth with medium acidity. Dry on the palate with nice balance and mouthfeel.
This is a delicious Bordeaux blend from Napa Valley. Complex and opulent, and might be too much for some.
Dark, rich and handsome. Very tasty now, although still young. Will be nice to revisit it in 10 years.

Good by itself or with food, like a big piece of steak.
A blend of 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Cabernet Franc, 15% Petit Verdot and 4% Merlot.

Every time I open a bottle of this I hear Russell and Victoria yell, “ONTOGENY!!!” It’s a fun blend that never disappoints and is always appropriate. It’s rambunctious and energetic but still poised and knows how to play well with others 🍷

This is luscious. Inky purple. The nose has coco on it, with dark fruit. Blackberry and vanilla are the predominant flavors. It’s still young so a little tannic. Medium acidity. Probably needs two years to hit its stride. Don’t think there’s a long shelf life but 8-10 years from here is a good goal

Love this juice 🔥 Voluptuous, decadent and loaded with sweet, dark fruits, Christmas spices, eucalyptus, and creme de cassis. Took about 1 hour to open up. Always a pleasure to drink.

Aug 31st, 2019Outstanding. Frothy mocha, creme brûlée, creme de cassis, Luxardo syrup, eucalyptus, juicy plums, blackberries, boysenberries, baking spices. This is a perfumed, full-throttled blend with intense aromatics, rich depth, beautiful structure, and a long finish.
