Decadent yet showing restraint and serious structure, this is a pretty sexy but at the same time demanding wine. Bold fruit, clever toasty oak and vivid acidity keep this youthfully constructed version well balanced and long, but perhaps somewhat one-dimensional?

This wine could have had a long life but it’s gone now. Hopefully I have more hiding in the cellar. Very nice.
