I’ve tried the 2013... which was a 9.3 though it was before I became a writer here. The ‘16 has some promise. It’s a bit heavy and acidic but has plenty of tannic backbone. I should have decanted it and let it aerate for a couple of hours.,As this later vintage ages, let’s see if it emerges to be the gem it’s older brother was! Drank with a very herbal and mid spicy veggie chile.
