A disappointment. Lots of acid, disappearing fruit. Youngster...needs tons of time but I'm not sure the fruit will keep up with the acid.

Mar 31st, 2017Dark Crimson but not as dark as the Pansiot Charmes - wine #4 in this bracket. Very powerful and rich once again with palate staining intensity finishing with cherry skins and formidable tannins. Built for the long haul. Should not be approached for another 15 years.

Very primary throughout. Tannins and acidity merging into a muscular core of tightly packed crisp, dark fruit. More powerful than elegant.

Fresh and juicy, I found that wine quite modern. Barrel is perfectly mastered, tannins are integrated giving this very muscular Mazis a long finish. Bo's quite my style of burg, this wine is delicious indeed.
