Took a bit to open up and was afraid it would fall on it's face fast but it showed nicely after being decanted.

1992 vintage; drank incredibly well at 25 years old - plum and prune notes, dark currant, nice earth and spices. Very nice experience.

An homage to those bygone days before overripe fruit that create wines that overwhelm the palate. Still plenty of fruit but the wine has structure and balance that has only improved with age.
