Holding up like a champ - velvety smooth, with cigar tobacco and stewed blackberry compote. A treat.

Youthful still! Drinks like Medoc. Light green bell pepper notes and lively cherries. Still herbal finishing notes.

The big brother to the 1999 tasted earlier. Lots of dark chocolate covered raspberries, Unbelievably present. Rich. It tastes expensive.

A note I could’ve written before tasting. Despite a wonky cork, rich, nicely integrated fruit and fading tannins. Elegant, with a plummy perfume, light cocoa and leather, earthy richness.

No formal notes, my friend opened this for his birthday and we were along for the ride, much fun, great wine.

WNH event number 4. Perfect Pizza Pairing bottles. Not a bad bottle in the bunch!

32yrs young and doing just fine. Needed some time to come out of its slumber but it sported sour red and black fruits with older tobacco and charred plum. Drink up. Nice

Another 4th Friday for the books, and one of the best of the year!

Prunes and cranberry; acidity and tannin have fallen off; tertiary flavors carry it...old cedar; muddled strawberry tart and old red licorice. Its best days are behind it, but it’s still got life.

Shockingly youthful, would thought mid 90’s+. Just an incredible bottle that shows how well the older Napa cabs can age.

14.5% ABV.
Please don’t let my somewhat modest rating deter you from seeking this out. It simply isn’t my preferred style of Napa CS any longer and I primarily use Delectable for my own internal notes.
