Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Very dark, very plush and very ripe. Certainly a good wine but really meant for a prime rib

Found another bottle. Dark Ruby, black fruit aromas, not overpowering. Palate shows blackberry, plum and pepper spice. Tannins were still firm but wine lacked luster. A little too earthy on the medium finish. If you have a bottle drink up!!

Deep ruby color and full bodied. Black fruits dominant on the nose; blueberry, blackberry, black cherry, prune, dried cranberry, a little bit smoky and leather, clover and cinnamon. Med tannin, very silky, easy drinking and quite approachable. Not shining but solid wine. 14.4% alc. 2008 vintage

Elegant and pretty refined, this varietally obvious CS highlight aged cassis and black currant notes. Fresh acidity and still vivid tannins add complexity to this well balanced Napa classic.

This is just growing in the glas, really a great Wine now, should stay at this level next 8 - 10 years.

Big, soft, ripe and full on black currant, creamy vanilla oak influence, very plush. In the mouth there is a similar character with rich but not over bearing blackcurrant & plum fruit, soft tannins and a ripe cassis finish

Nice medium bodied expression with black currant, vanilla, spice, smoke. Well crafted, drinking well now.
