Main & Vine California Pinot Grigio

Easy drinking white, not sweet but not bitter.

Good dryness, refreshing, had some cloudiness but goid overall.

On opening, definite smells of honey with notes of apricot. Also a sweet backdrop that I cannot place. A full nose. Tastes of light pineapple some citrus and zest plus green apple. Later in the drinking peach notes came through on the palate. A good balance with a dryer texture than I was expecting and quite full with a good length. Very enjoyable.

A little sweet for a Pinot Grigio but a nice wine for the price.

🇺🇸 Pinot Gris from California. I got mixed reviews about this varietal but the vintage seemed appreciated. Although it’s been rated dry, this medium body wine has a definite sweet edge with taste of peach 🍑 and citrus 🍊 for a smooth finish to the palate. I gonna serve it with Seasoned Pork Chops and Shanghai Bok Choy 🥬. 12 % ABV. That’s a good return for the ten bucks spent.

Sweet peach and hay. Not the greatest in its genre, but better than would be expected for such a low price.
