Száraz Tokaj Furmint

This unoaked, beautiful aperitif shows great minerals and acidity and is a fabulous food wine. It paired very well with the olives and the goat cheese and star anise dip.

Soft citrus, cantaloupe, hint of honey, lemongrass, mineral. Great afternoon drinking.

Dry and stoney. Digging these Hungarian whites. With salmon and baked yams topped with jalapeño, feta, cilantro, and Kalamata olives.

A little oxidized but interesting

I loved this wine. Nose smells of honey, beeswax and lavender but this wine is bone dry. Delicious!

Finally able to taste a Furmint from Hungary without botrytis!!! A delicious experience. Perfumed nose of honey, yellow and white flowers, with a palate of underripe white peach and green Jolly Rancher.

A buccal delight! Enters with fresh lemon and has a long gingery finish. Tremendous value.

Some funk on the nose. But taste like dry melon. Solid value.

Wonderful tropical flowery notes. Bright acidity. Beautifully balanced.
