Dark ruby color. Aromas of black fruit and a mix of black pepper and baking spices. Pallet has an interesting mix of black (blackberry and currants), blue (blueberry) and red (cranberry and cherry) fruit. Hint of vanilla on the medium finish. Gets a bit lost through the mid-pallet and the acidity is quite low. Smooth tannins. Best as a “sipper.”

Dark red purple. Oaky and dark fruit note. I haven't had a wine as old as 2014 in a while. And maybe I like a younger wine.

I was unsure of if this was going to be to my taste when I first sipped it but we made Peking duck and it went great!
