The reserve offering from Benton Lane in the vintage considered by many as the best ever in Oregon. Dark and perfumed, and dominated by a smoky black cherry and toast note. Secondary dark chocolate, cherry pipe tobacco, cured meat, and leather add to its darker than usual persona.

We utilize this as a palate cleanser. It was light and I found it to be somewhat shallow in its flavor profile. However, the acidity did it's work and reset our palate. Thanks David @David L for that insight!!

We had the 2018 First Class PN on 8/3-4/22. The second night was much better. The mouth feel was nicely velvety. I agree with the taste of stewed fruits and baking spices. A good PN.

We had the 2018 Vintage on 1/15-16/22. This is a terrific representative of a good Oregonian Pinot Noir. Tastes of cherry, baking spices and some oak. Velvety mouth feel. Well balanced. Nice finish. Tannins smoothed out. Purifrom the winery.
