Mendoza Malbec

The 2020 Malbec Nieto Senetiner spent six months in oak. Purple in color. The aromas include fresh plum and pure fruit flavors with hints of white pepper. Broad and juicy on the palate with a sugary beginning and gentle tannins, this is a wine to please everyone. (Joaquín Hidalgo, Vinous, November 2021)

Very strong wall of taste, smells of dark fruits and plum. Pretty tart and dry, but I wonder if it’s a little young, seeing as it’s a 2022

Doesn’t have a taste. Maybe prune? I’d prune not supposed to taste like anything? My mom keeps telling me fruit isn’t supposed to taste like anything.

Smell: strong smell of red berries, maybe blackcurrant.
Taste: Fairly good taste. Cherry and plum notes with a medium finish. Medium tartness and low acidity. After a while it definitely has highetened flavors.
Conclusion: good but not my go-to red.

Not my favorite but still pretty good. Can taste some oak and maybe some chocolatey flavors as well. Fruit notes of blueberry and blackberry .

Very acidic, high tannins burns the tongue, notes of cherries (according to abby but i’ve never had a cherry bc im allergic), dark red fruits, too tart, not heavy, not really a fan, could be too young

Licorice smell, pretty sharp and dry. Heavy on the dark fruits

Almost sweet, lots of apricot and berries. Easy to drink :)
