Terra d'Uva Greco di Tufo
The 2021 Greco di Tufo Terre d'Uva opens with a bouquet of tropical green melon, exotic florals and a spritz of lime. This is texturally deep, almost oily in feel, balanced by saline-minerals and crisp green apple. The Terre d'Uva finishes with a bitter tension, pinching at the cheeks with sour citrus while leaving the mouth watering for more. This zesty Greco will win a lot of hearts. (Eric Guido, Vinous, June 2023)

Jun 15th, 2023Sweet melon, yellow flowers and hints of young mango create an alluring bouquet as the 2019 Greco di Tufo Terra d'Uva opens in the glass. This is rich, creamy and decadent in feel, balanced by bright acidity and citrus-tinged apples and pears. For all of its extroverted personality, the Terra d'Uva tapers off wonderfully fresh, leaving hints of tropical fruit to linger. (Eric Guido, Vinous, January 2022)

Even Ferrara’s second Greco is pretty stellar. Showing plenty of layered complexity on day two

Jul 15th, 2020Vivid straw in color, Ferrara’s 2017 Greco di Tufo Terra d'Uva is laced with suggestions of lemon zest, white peach and ripe apricot. Rich and dense, but very nicely delineated, with vibrant, harmonious acidity providing lift on the long, mineral finish, the 2017 has plenty of early appeal. $23.00 (Ian D'Agata, Vinous, November 2018)

My favorite white wine to be opened this evening. Transparency and minerality in full effect. Though not overpowering, this wine played all its cards. The guy at the shop I picked this up from warned I would be back for more of this, and sure enough I will be.
