Granée Gavi del Comune di Gavi Cortese

Crisp and fresh. Still one of my favourites. Goes so well with almost anything savory.

Interesting... but not an easy drink. Kind of pungent aroma. Strong on the almonds, bit of lemon, lots of salinity. Bitter. Smooth. Long aftertaste. Kind of heavy--feels like hangover juice. Definitely an acquired taste. Kind of mellowed a bit though overnight. $29

Light and crisp. Lemon curds, pear, granny smith apple, and white peach. A nice wine at that price.

Fresh white wine, pairs well with savoury buttery pasta as a mouth refresher. Notes: Pear, Apple

More discriminating Gavi...from Gavi. This is more citric and mineral.

Excelente

Crisp and structured. Loads of mineral, white flowers, citrus and bitter almonds. Ever so slightly off dry. 100% Cortese. Starter wine in a Batasiolo dinner tasting.

Nariz: manzana, toronja, mineral (tiza).

Boca: seco, acidez M+, alcohol M. Buen balance, muy refrescante. Buen vino para diario.
