This is the wine equivalent of the Jurassic Park 3 movie: nice in theory but not in practice. Freisa just isn’t for me. I want this to be Barbera or Brachetto, not their awkward mingling. For me, a disappointing wine from a benchmark producer. I’d rather drink warm cherry Dr Pepper, because that might actually taste better.

Wild strawberries, medicinal herbs, black rocks, fragrant brambly flowers. Love the light frizzante and the texture it brings. So fresh I felt compelled to drink the whole bottle.

My first tasting of the Freisa grape. From the Langhe, so medium bodied like Nebbiolo, but with a bit of a sparkle. Very interesting, and actually quite delicious. Perfect for a rainy afternoon on the porch.
