Clark & Telephone Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir

Hello old friend. Tasting the 21 vintage. Very consistent with previous years. Not a typical Pinot, but a really solid wine nonetheless.

Raspberry, strawberry, gunsmoke/petroleum, clove and allspice, root beer, licorice

Zolecki’s 4/21/26, mistake drink, 2021 vintage 289.00 after we finished the bottle

Smoke and cherry with earthy blackberry and oak. Rich and dark.

May have left it a touch too long. Has gotten earthier but still has some smoke and blackberry.

What a wonderful wine!!! We enjoyed it with a surf/turf dinner (steak & scallops). It was full bodied enough to go along with steak while remaining light enough so it didn’t overwhelm the scallops…

Fruity bouquet, jammy and creamy, smooth finish.

Nice Pinot !!
