STAVES OF WAIDHOFEN!..it's just so much more fun to scream that name (in a german accent). On day 1 the oak is way up front. When using some of the worlds greatest barrels it's no surprise that you want them to be highlighted in the wine, but at this early stage the oak is dominant. Lemongrass, citrus, plenty of minerality. This needs a few years for the oak to integrate and it will really be something special.

Big like a kiwi SB, but w/o the cloyness & cat pee. Even with the foreign oak it is of a place -- Sonoma.

Gold with green tinge. Herbal nose, with grass, herbs and lemon. Medium body with good acidity. Great QPR. Again a great wine from Bedrock.
