Dense cherry-cola color with marroon rim. Very nice burgundian nose of funky, very near sewer aromas, talc, subtle malt, and cherry liquour; all very, very inviting and pleasant. Great depth! Phenomenal transition from entrance to explosive third quarter. Very burgundian every step of the way. Virgin cherry flavors carefully mixed with porcini mushroom, black truffles. Young and bright acidity. This wine should be cellared another 8 to 12 years. Finishes long, leaving your palate with pommegranate and malt sensation. 92 pts.
