Deep mix of ruby and purplish red. Very complex layers on the nose, starting off dark and savory with black olives and a touch of smoked meat. With some air the nose added some purple floral notes. Moderate tannins (6.5/10) and medium plus bodied. Savory attack on the palate with dark gravel, a bit smoky, and a touch of olive tapenade. Great structure and mouthfeel that lingers. A touch of dark red fruits with black raspberries and cherries near the finish. Long and dry finish. Drink till 2024.

Immediately impressed by the aromatics and color...initially would conclude a younger wine...on palate a more mature, integrated experience

Big full flavored syrah. Alcohol really stands out to me. This would probably be a crowd pleaser.
