Taut, focused and beautifully balanced. The 50% Syrah is lifted and fresh, while the other grapes blend seamlessly. Possibly the most underrated Rhone blend made in the US. #beckmen #santaynez

Syrah leads the dance here. More fruity and less savory than the Purisima Mountain Syrah. Hard not to love. Cotes-du-Ynez? #swc

We tasted this during a tour in June. Our shipment finally arrived. We opened this as our reward for waiting for the case of more expensive selections. This is delightful. No pretense, a wee bit of grip on a he finish, Great nose of black cherry, raspberry, Clean and fresh: An amazing red to ease into Holiday Season!

Notes of berry, cedar, and fennel. Tastes of black cherry and ripe fruits, along with something like mint. Strong alcohol, slightly dry, with relaxed tannins. Very powerful wine. Alcohol burns the mouth a bit.

After an hour it opened up, but still too alcoholic and not juicy enough (like true Rhone wines).

Enjoyed at Vino Volo at the St Louis airport along with delicious lamb meatballs. Great airport dining. So pleasantly surprised.

While this has a lot of body and plenty of fruit it's hot at 14.9 and seems a bit out of balance.
