Ready to drink. A lovely amalgam of wet soil, spice, dark fruit and an unusual but quite pleasant tang of iron. Tannins resolved, good acid structure and little residual wood. Medium finish.

A bit disappointing. Beaux Frere is usually a favorite of mine and tonight there just wasn't much there. Light bodied and simple. Magnum.

Jun 2nd, 2015Earthy Pinot nose. Dark fruit, dark berries on the palate. Good acidity and tannins. Alcohol just a little high for me. Overall quite nice and glad to have more.
