FRIDAY!!!!! 2008 BV Tapestry Reserve Napa Valley, Cab.Sauv. - Merlot - Cab. Franc - Malbec - Petit Verdot. Very good dark fruit on the nose and oak. To taste is good black raspberries, ripe plum, cassis, licorice, with hints of oak and the tannins are pronounced but not over bearing. Could use a few more years in the cellar.

Surprisingly not bad. Not showing much age in terms of color. Still has some nice tannins. Excellent for ravioli and Seinfeld.

Day 1= excellent! Strong cab and killer with food. Day 2= wha?? Why does it seem sandy and gritty?

Very drinkable, balanced Cab dominant. A little tight out of the bottle but opening up over the evening.

Great structure, some earthiness, hints of black licorice as well. Very solid wine.

Great value...happy with how this has cellared. Good fruit, a bit of earthiness & structure not commonly found in many other '08 Napa cab Sauv based wines. Not too complex but still delicious.
