Tobacco, dried fruits, orange peel, dried herbs and nice acid holding up. Definitely past its prime, but still fun. Would be interesting with some aged cheeses.

Holding up nicely for an 88. Just starting to fall off a bit. Fruit still hanging on - subtle cherry, orange rind, wild herbs. Soft tannin, med acid and a bit of tobacco. Fun stuff.

A basic wine that has aged well. Not a strong Cab nose yet a full one. Soft tannins and a pleasant sweetness. Some sediment.

Drinking better than the 76 george latour i just had. Somehow more youthful and harmonious. Barely on its decline but still wonderful and powerful. The merlot within adds a softness. Acidic library finish. Nice

Cork fell apart but wine was not spoiled. Cinnamon and oak notes with a hint of dried cherries. So fun to open up the 35 year old wine.

Really old but stored properly and payoff was a superb wine from the late 80’s. Early days of Napa have awarded them a great reputation.
