15’ Beau Vigne Bacigalupi Chardonnay. Needed an additional 18 months in bottle. Frankly, it wasn’t very good upon release.

Apricot, pear, pineapple, butterscotch, with a streak of acidity that dissipates after a short period of time in the glass. Unlike the Edge Hill( same part of the vineyard )this 2015 has a much shorter window to consume it at its very best. That being said… Fantastic now! Drink them up in the next 3/4 years.

Big aromas of honeyed mango, honeysuckle, and oak. The oak itself isn’t out of place or obtrusive...reminds me of some Peter Michael Chardonnays in the way it is a big battle of oak and fruit on the nose. Mid palate isn’t as dense as the front or finish, but it will flesh out over the next year or two. Rich yet balanced acidity. Toasted cashews, lanolin, and buttered tropical fruit. This could use a few more years, but it’s accessible now with a decant.

Just a wonderful Chardonnay from an awesome winery!

As good as the 12. It just needs time to develop and integrate.
Stellar!!!!!

In my mind you can’t go wrong with a Beau Rivard, I mean, Beau Vigne. Amazing abundance of tropical and citrus flavors married to a wonderful minerality and acidity. This wine is like standing on the corner of First and First (you Seinfeld fans will get that) - it’s the Nexus of Old and New World - love this Chard @Martin G Rivard !!!

On the nose; green apple, ripe pineapple and light citrus blend on the nose. Chalky mineral & yellow lilies. The body thick, creamy & nice texture. Ripe, near candied lemon drops, lime, green apple, very ripe pineapple, honeysuckle, soft chalkiness, soft minerals, yellow lilies and a rich round nice finish.

Just arrived,
Tasty juice, any suggestions for decant time on next bottle?
Nose is incredible once you give it a big swirl in the glass.
Think it needs 3 years, not your ordinary Chardonnay,
