Wow. Fresh.
The nose has layers of disciplined fruit.
Nothing crazy, very textbook good.

Bright. IlLuminated salted berries, persimmon, ripe, yet not to much, plum, hints of melon. Perfect acidity to stave (Ha!) off the oak.
This is an amazing BDX blend, and so worth the price.
No candied over cloying here.
This is a good expression.

Got this from the Marzoukas and it was really drinkable and nice. Would pair well with any red meat.

Very fruity on the nose, but surprisingly dry. A big and quaffable weekday wine.

Nose of black cherry, licorice, prune, chocolate, vanilla, sweet oak (reminiscent of Cracker Jacks).

Ripe plums, ripe black cherry, licorice, kirsch, oak. Acidity is med-, tannin med+. Sweet oak notes linger.

Interesting wine texturaly. Tannins are there, bit they're ripe and sweet and don't lend too much astringency. Pretty silky. Straddling that line between ripe and jammy. Good stuff, especially if you're craving a dark fruited steak wine that is fleshy but not over the top.

Really dig this red blend. Super spicy, good oak, lots of pepper and fruit with some rich, meaty hints.
