See previous notes from 21 weeks and 68 weeks ago. A full bodied McLaren Vale Shiraz Cabernet blend. The unique feature of this wine is how they cut the canes on the vine and allow the grapes to dry out or “raisin “ for 2 weeks before picking. Like an on the vine Amarone treatment.

Rich ruby/purple in colour. A very Aussie Shiraz Cabernet blend. Actual percentages 60/40. Red and black ripe fruits with mulberry and blackberry with a spicy chorizo type nose. Sweetish palate of blackberry. See previous notes for the partial “Amarone” treatment of the grapes. A full bodied red. This producer has been organic and biodynamic for some time in McLaren Vale. One of the 1001 Wines.

Dense Crimson in colour. Aromas of Mint, coconut oak, and dried fruit. On the palate touch of raspberry and pruney flavours. Supple integrated tannins. This winery was an early adopter of organic viticultural principles. Technical Details:
In a form of drying and concentrating the grapes (like Amarone) the vines’ canes are cut and the grapes are allowed to dry and then raisin on the vine itself. After 2 weeks of this process the grapes are hand picked before being guided through a slow fermentation.

Mixed berry fruits, hint of spice & even a slight pastry note; reminds me somewhat of baked blueberry pie. Florals notes provide some lift and in the palate it feels so pure and vibrant. A real joy to drink

Deep seductively sexy shade of red in the glass. Rich aromas of warm sweet berries and is just plain intoxicating on the nose. It caresses the palate with alluring tannins and flavours of mulberries, chocolate and a nice black pepper & berry zing which carries on well into the night. $42 a bottle at Tarts and it's also organic & vegan.

I've done a Spanish Cava and Jazz night before but Jazz and Shiraz was new for me. And it was absolutely perfect on a chilly Perth evening at @tartscafe with a beaut bottle like this.

Нежно, голубика, лакокраска, морс. Очень сочно, новосветски и ярко. Хороший. Сдаюсь, вслепую шираз бы не опознал.

Very soft and pretty, mainly red fruited surprisingly enough given the varietals.

Big, bold, light tannins, silky, delicious, good oak, would work well with food.
