Cotes du Roussillon Syrah & Vieilles Vignes Grenache

Like a much more heavy hitting, high toned Northern Rhône wine, but wayyy less expensive. Delicious.

This may be the QPR champion of 2019 and we’re only halfway through March. Incredibly pure red fruits, brambles, garrigue, pepper, spice. Handsome structure. Tongue smacking finish. This drinks as well as Rhône wines that are four+ times the price. Giddy up.

I won't say the wine was cheap. I will say the price point was low. But but but this is one of those 20$ bottles your brain says " wait is the 200$ bottle 10x better? Ish don't think so ! So see it, buy it, enjoy it! Call me later. 1-800-don't overspend!

One of the best $13 bottles of wine I have had. Fruit forward more new world style. Great QPR.

Very nice and fruity. Dark. Light on the nose. Not sure… glad I have a second bottle to try before forming final opinion. At 15 years, might be past its prime. (2nd bottle) the aroma is still great! Delicious. A little oxidation but holds up really well. Would definitely get again. 7.5 at auction

Dry. Flavors of blackberry, blackcurrant, plum, grape. Medium-rich, smooth tannins.

A well structured blend of Syrah ,74%, and Gernache,26%. Deep colour, earthy notes, black fruits. Balanced, smooth ripe tanins, very tasty.

Medium-deep ruby color.
Aromas of fresh strawberry, strawberry syrup, floral, soft spice.
Dry. Flavors of strawberry, red floral, cinnamon. Medium, chewy tannins. Lovely!

Vanilla and rubbing alcohol on the nose, mulch, potpourri and stewed fruit on the palate, nice floral finish
